Customers
The Customers module is JoyOne’s built-in CRM. Store and manage all information about your clients in one place — contacts, history, KYC documents, and more.
Customer Profile
Each customer record contains:

| Tags | Labels for segmentation (e.g. VIP, Wholesale) |
| Assigned staff | Who is responsible for this customer |
| Custom fields | Flexible fields defined per workspace |

Activity Timeline
Every interaction is logged automatically:
- Orders placed
- Appointments booked
- Messages sent/received
- Tasks linked to this customer
- Invoice history
Contacts
A customer can have multiple contacts (e.g. different decision-makers in a company). Each contact has its own name, phone, email, and role.
KYC (Know Your Customer)
KYC is primarily used in financial or compliance-sensitive businesses. Enable it per workspace in Settings → Customer Forms.
Upload and verify identity documents:
- ID card / Passport
- Business registration certificate
- Tax code
- Other custom documents
KYC status: Pending → Verified → Rejected
Customer Forms
Create custom intake forms to collect data from customers. Forms can be shared via link or embedded on your website. Responses are automatically attached to the customer record.
Adding a Customer
Go to Customers
Click Customers in the left navigation.
Create new
Click + New Customer (top right).
Fill basic info
Enter name, phone, email, and any custom fields.
Save
Click Save. The customer is now searchable and can be linked to orders, tasks, and bookings.
Import / Export
- Import customers from CSV — download the template, fill it in, and upload.
- Export the full customer list or a filtered subset to CSV at any time.
Segmentation & Search
Use the search bar and filter panel to find customers by:
- Name, phone, or email
- Tags / Labels
- Assigned staff
- Last activity date
- KYC status
