Team chat

Team chat is how members talk to each other inside the workspace. The left menu label is Messages.

What you can do

• Public or private channels by topic
• Direct messages and small group chats
• Threads, reactions, and @mentions
• Unread badges
• Files shared in a channel, listed in the channel drawer together with links
• Notification mode, star, and hide per channel

A message you send is shown immediately. If the network fails, it stays in a session outbox so you can retry or discard it. Reloading the page clears that outbox.

While you are in a channel

Joy One marks the channel as read while you are viewing it and shows who else is present. Typing state is shared with the people in that channel.

You can pin a message, delete your own message when the product allows it, and reply in a thread without leaving the channel.

What this is not

Team chat does not deliver the message to a customer on Zalo, Messenger, or any other outside channel. It also does not fetch previews of links you paste.
