Stocks
Stocks is the inventory for physical products. Quantities are tracked by lot: each receipt of goods is its own lot, with a cost, an optional expiry date, and the branch that holds it.
The left menu label is Stocks. Related entries are Stock check and Stock transfers.
The product catalog stores the item. Stocks stores how many units you actually have. Stock out uses the lot that expires soonest first. Lots with no expiry are used after those.
The stock pages
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Stock value, low stock, and expired or expiring lots |
| Lots | Every lot, with filters for expired lots and lots expiring soon |
| History | One register for manual in/out, transfers, exchanges, stock checks, orders, tickets, and warranty movements |
Stocktake and Transfers are tabs on the same screen when you can manage stock. Transfers only appears when the workspace has a branch to move stock to.
A product can be In stock, Low stock, Out of stock, or Not tracked. Products that do not track stock still appear on the overview as not tracked, and they are left out of the stock metrics.
Branch filters on Overview, Lots, and History stay aligned. Opening a product from stock keeps a breadcrumb back to the stock page you came from.
Receive or issue stock
A manual stock-in or stock-out is one transaction with one or more lines. Each product appears once on that transaction. Stock-in can name a partner and attach one or more expense receipts. Paying or archiving the receipt does not change the quantity on hand.
Stock check
Create a draft for one location
A manager opens Stock check and creates a sheet. Each location can have one open draft. The sheet snapshots every physical product at that location.
Count
Counters open the sheet by its code, enter the quantity they see, and tick each line. They do not see the system quantity.
Confirm
When every line is ticked, a manager confirms the sheet. Joy One applies only the difference that was locked at tick time. A confirmed sheet cannot be undone. Correct a mistake with a later manual stock-in or stock-out.
Stock transfers
When the workspace has at least one branch, Stock transfers moves goods from the main office to a branch, or between branches.
Sending the transfer takes the quantity out of the source immediately. While it is in transit, that quantity is not on hand at either location. The destination confirms receipt, and the same lots — cost and expiry included — are added there.
You need stock manager access at the source to create or cancel, and at the destination to confirm receipt.
